    Moodle upgrade

Unified Studies has completed an upgrade to the latest version of Moodle for our fantastic client, Youth Take Action

So far, they are raving about the increased functionality, (including IM) and just about everything they had identified as a "wish they had" seems to be included in the upgrade. Way to go, Moodle.

    Moodle meeting

Had a great conversation with a local University here in Portland about their plans for using Moodle.
They have plans to implement Moodle for some coursework, but also a much grander vision of a world-wide network of related organizations that Moodle may play a large part in.

Unified Studies will be getting together with their IT team soon to provide some consulting going forward on their Moodle use!

Moodle plus Unified Studies equals success!

I knew we (Unified Studies) were doing good work on our Youth Take Action web project, but I'm pleased to note great feedback continues to come in.

Our client at New Urban High School just attended an education conference in San Diego, and came back to tell me that their website was a big hit. Educators at the conference as well as course evaluators they have hired all commented that the site was the best (and best looking) implementation of Moodle they have seen yet! We integrated all the Moodle tools and courseware into a great new design, and even had lots of video integrated.

If anyone out there is thinking of giving Moodle a try, so far I'd say it's been great, and our client certainly agrees. If anyone would like to see the how the coursework is set up (it's password protected) let me know, and I'll give you access to check things out!...and of course if you need any Moodle help...email me. I'll be posting some screen shots from various sections soon as well.
